About the club
No head office. No sales team. Just the three of us, the hotels we love, and the members we book them for.
London, UK.
Our story
We never planned to start a travel club. We just loved to travel. And when Max was born, we refused to stop. His first boarding pass came before his first birthday. By eight, he had been on more than a hundred airplanes and has been to more destinations than most kids his age.
A decade of family trips taught us which hotels mean it and which ones are marketing. We kept notes. Friends started asking us to book their trips; then friends of friends. At some point the notes became The Edit, the bookings became a concierge, and the family habit became the Luminari Club.
We still travel the same way: together, curious, and slightly overpacked. Every hotel we recommend, we have slept in. Every itinerary we arrange is one we would take Max on ourselves.

Marta
Writes The Edit, argues the rankings, and knows which suite to ask for in forty-seven countries. Avid tennis player, photographer and traveller.
Rod
Manages the tech, the site, builds the AI brain for Alfred and makes sure operations run smoothly, always. Keeps the relationship with the hotels and with the members.
Max
One hundred flights in. Rates every hotel on pool, breakfast pancakes, kids clubs and whether the concierge remembers his name.
I.
You pay what the hotel charges. We are paid by the hotels, and we help you get the VIP treatment.
II.
After being in some of the best hotel chains around the world, we know what good looks like.
III.
We book for members the way we book for ourselves: honestly, carefully, and with love.
Membership is by application or invitation. Max reviews the pancakes personally.
